About UsThe Three Fishes Picture Framing Gallery is situated in the center of the picturesque town of Peebles in the Scottish Borders.
Specialising in high quality bespoke framing at highly competitive prices and using the very best materials from sustainable sources; frames are made as an extension of the work of art and not just "wood & nails with a piece of glass." On display is a cornucopia of frame styles, with images ranging from art prints, rock posters, to an emerging display of art by Jerry Hart. |
Who We Are |
A local family run business, Jim Macdonald, is the framer and artist in residence. The Three Fishes Framing believes that quality framing shouldn't have to cost the earth and that quality framed art should be for everyone. The open, laid-back atmosphere at the Three Fishes Framing means that everyone is welcome to come up and browse. Jim will spend as much time as you need to make sure your frame is right for you.

Our History |
As an artist himself, Jim understands the importance of aesthetically pleasing and complementary bespoke framed artwork. The correct frame not only enhances the artwork but protects it from dust, dirt and environmental damage. With over 14 years of framing a wide range of pieces from Uri Geller spoons, Golden Eagle feathers, concert tickets, medals, and M.B.Es, to jewellery and ceramic poppies; Jim has framed just about everything. He believes that every bespoke frame should be an individual work of art in itself, not something mass produced. Jim offers a highly personal service to all his customer to ensure that they are completely happy with their choice.
